Overview
Who are we – a 50+ Forum. A ‘Forum’ as a meeting in which people can talk about a problem, especially of public interest. Our ‘Forum’ is about much more than talking. We believe in taking action. You can see examples of what we do on this website.
Through our activities and projects, the Forum seeks to:
- Promote the interests, participation, and engagement of people aged over fifty in the Borough.
- Provide them with an opportunity to express, publicise, and present their views, opinions, or complaints.
- Provide information relevant to older residents of the Borough. Also, for friends and relatives who care for them.
- Identify any area where they can influence the improvement of the well-being of the residents of the Borough over 50 years old.
Constitution
An officer from GAVO has independently reviewed our Constitution. It was comprehensive and eminently suitable for a voluntary organisation. COPA has included the document as guidance for Forums across Wales.
